The longest day in my life
It was a nice day for a walk, so I calked my friend Shaykha she is my best friend and we spent a lot of time together .we walked for two hours when Shaykha wanted to buy some thing from the supermarket she didn’t see the road and just run cross it without seeing the cars. Suddenly a fast car hit my only friend. At that moment; I didn’t know what to do.
I was so shocked, I stood still feeling nothing till I heard people screaming as they ran towards the accident and calling ambulance. Few minutes later, a person called Ahmed walked towards me, (she will be ok, don’t worry) he said.
The ambulance came and took Shykha to the hospital at the same time the police took me to ask me some question about the car accident.
Then the police let me go to see my friend.
When I reached hospital, the first thing I saw was my father is car .then I saw my mother crying ,but when she saw me she stopped and ran toward me and hugged and kissed me
(Are you ok are you ok??) She said.
(Yes) I said.
(What about Shaykha??) I asked.
My parents didn’t answer me.
(No) I shouted.
(She is ok) my parents replied.
I went towards the room of my friend .I saw her parents were around her crying and the doctor tried to give her some air to help her to breath.
Blood covered her small week body. Her eyes were closed .she had ahead injury.
(We did all we can. We are so sorry) the doctor said.
How can it be? How I lost my only friend? How can I live without her company? Can I live without the person who shard me my childhood? Who gave happiness to my life .how can destiny takes her and leaves me alone.
(Is this fair?) I said in my mind.
That was the last minute with her
And also this was the longest day in my whole life.
